map the decisions

Which decisions each domain owns, on what cadence, and what it actually needs to make them. Everything downstream derives from this.

fix the definitions

One meaning per metric, ratified by the domain that owns the number rather than by the analysts. Most data disagreements are definition disagreements.

wire the core

Identity, event log, contracts between domains. The connective layer nobody sells you and everything else depends on.

build the surfaces

Views, tools and agents on top of the core. Cheap once the hard part is done, and disposable, because they are no longer where the truth lives.

close the loop

Decisions leave a trace, the trace feeds the core, the core sharpens the next decision. This is the part that compounds.
